Lowertown Blues & Funk Fest - July
The largest free Blues Festival in the Twin Cities started in 2003 as "Famous Dave's BBQ and Blues Festival" in Peavey Plaza, Minneapolis, MN. After several changes and re-construction of Peavey Plaza, the festival found itself without a home in 2012, and the next year was moved to it's present location in Lowertown Neighborhood of St. Paul in beautiful Mears Park.
Twin Cities Jazz Festival - June
The Twin Cities Jazz Fest is a jazz festival in St. Paul Minnesota. Founded in 1999 by Steve Heckler, the festival is centered in the Lowertown neighborhood in downtown St. Paul. The main stage is located in Mears Park with additional stages throughout the city.
Minnesota State Fair - Late August
The Minnesota State Fair is the state fair of the U.S. state of Minnesota. Its slogan is "The Great Minnesota Get-Together." It is the largest state fair in the United States by average daily attendance.
